Navigating Hylo

The global navigation menu is your primary tool for moving between different areas of Hylo. Located on the left side of the screen, it contains essential member settings and your Groups.

Access personal settings, All my Groups, and My Content context (formerly My Home)

Notifications [Bell Icon]

• See recent and unread notifications

• Click on a notification to navigate to that piece of content

• Mark all as read

Direct Messages [DM Icon]

• The Message icon opens Direct Messages

  • A red dot indicates unread messages

• View all conversations

  • You will see a number/color indicator on chats where you have unread messages, and the number of missed messages

• Start new messages using the icon

• Easily create Group Chats

• Search Messages for content

• See icons of your groups/communities in alphabetical order
